Child Protection Cycles Project (2017 – 2020)
The Children Protection Circles Project has two (2) main goals:
- To prevent children from coming into conflict with the law
- To ensure that children who do are treated lawfully and child-friendly and receive support so they can still build up a good future
We make weekly visits to local police stations, courts, and prisons in the Chikwawa and Nsanje districts to ensure the young offenders’ rights are being upheld.
We give free legal/social aid to children in conflict with the law.
We provide weekly life skills sessions for behavior change at Chikwawa and Nsanje Prisons.
Our final aim is to create an accessible, lawful and child-friendly child justice system in Malawi.
